The Apalachee Bay Firehouse Community Center (ABFCC) serves the communities south of Highway 98 including Spring Creek, Shell Point, Live Oak Island, and Oyster Bay.
ABFCC functions as an unmanned Fire Station with two full time trucks. In 2024, the name was changed from Apalachee Bay Volunteer Fire Department (ABVFD) to Apalachee Bay Firehouse Community Center (ABFCC) to reflect our commitment to serving and promoting the community.
We host potluck dinners the second Monday of every month with special guest speakers who are very informative and entertaining. The Firehouse is regularly used by many groups for meetings, crafting, instructional art programs, yoga and aerobics fitness classes, food events, game and trivia nights, and much more. We continue to see many new faces move into our community and look forward to joining with them to keep our community the wonderful paradise that we all enjoy.
